In Search of Gustavus Ross

We know he's out there. Gustavus was married to Martha Allison and had two children David and William. The most known thing about Gustavus was that he died in a pre-revolutionary war skirmish in Piscataway, New Jersey on February 1, 1777. Where did he come from? Where was he born? Where was he married? The mystery seems to go on unanswered. We've established this blog to assist in the search and to answer genealogy questions of "Where did Gustavus Ross come from?" This blog should also hopefully become a gathering point for the descendents of the Ross clan to work together to share our family heritage. Please feel free to post any information to allow others to gain the knowledge of the Ross family.
